Ticket To DevonLand

To anyone else this would appear to be a bunch of branches trimmed and ready to be thrown out.
In Devons world they made the perfect "hut" for his guys to take up residence.

One of my favorite things in this world is to watch and listen to Devon play. He has an imagination like no other, it's going to kill me when he leaves all this behind. I was reading and half listening while he played. When he went to go get something I snuck in to take a pic, but he caught me.

Wild Boyz!!

This darling little face was the dirtiest thing I had ever seen. I'm dreading the oversized adult tooth coming in soon-there is no way they'll fit his sweet little face.
Brotherly love and, "ooohh is that dessert you have??"

EEEEWWWW! I think I'm a little dirty. This one however, wanted to shower every 30 minutes.

They didn't catch much but that didn't keep them from trying.

I couldn't resist this-I have no idea how that dog got his HUGE body curled into a ball small enough to fit in this chair. He felt he needed a chair to himself to enjoy the campfire.

Muddy Buddies

This was the view for bits and pieces of the weekend. It was great fun but a little muddy.
Austin couldn't resist RUNNING through every mud puddle he could find. His mom was really quite calm about changing him 5 times in an hour-he was out of clothes very early on.
Keaton had a bit of a runny nose which made for some fabulous mud snot. Somehow we lucked out and he didn't completely submerge himself in any puddles.

These two seemed to really enjoy each others company. We were a little weary to hug them due to the constant mud status but it didn't bother them to hug on each other.

And The Award Goes To.....

It's official! My sweet baby boy has completed elementary school, he's on to Middle School. YIKES!!! He was being very cooperative with my picture taking on his way out the door-it could be because he felt sorry for me (I had a tear in my eye).
" OH Man! Not you and that camera again."

And the 'Presidential Award for Academic Excellence' goes to... Bryce Fox. This was a total surprise! We are so proud of him, but he was so proud of himself-it meant the world to him.

Bryce and two of his best buds. Left is Alex Reid and on the right is Josh Mittle, they're both on his football team and such great kids. My picture of his bossom buddy Sam came out fuzzy so I'll have to get those two critters later.

Family Pictures are always fun...

These are just a few of my favorites. We are so lucky to have Grandpa Kelly who does pictures and is willing to suffer through trying to get all 3 of my little monkeys to cooperate.
This is a genuine smile. I love it, at this age you often times get a strained look more than a smile. Thankfully he's looking at something far more interesting in the distance and doesn't realize this is a photo op.

It is really difficult to get a bad picture of this kid. He's always looked like an old fashioned kid.

Anyone who knows me knows I HATE ( I know it's a strong word and I mean every letter of it) having my picture taken, this is one of the few in my lifetime I'm sure that doesn't make me cringe. So don't look too closely please.

Isn't this sweet? They're looking at the HUGE coi fish coming for Keatons toes. YUMMY.
